Pre-order Terms

These Pre-order Terms apply to any products sold by Sunday Scout on a pre-order basis through our website.

By placing a pre-order, you agree to these terms in addition to our main Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Returns and Refund Policy.

1. What is a pre-order?

A pre-order allows you to reserve a product before it is in stock and ready for immediate dispatch.

Pre-order products will be clearly identified on the website.

2. Payment

Unless otherwise stated, payment for pre-order items is taken at the time the order is placed.

By placing a pre-order, you agree to pay the price shown at checkout, including any applicable delivery charges.

3. Estimated dispatch dates

Any dispatch or delivery dates given for pre-order items are estimates only.

While we will do our best to meet any estimated timeframe, pre-order products may be delayed due to factors outside our reasonable control, including:

  • supplier delays

  • manufacturing issues

  • stock shortages

  • shipping disruption

  • customs or logistics delays

  • severe weather or other unexpected events

We will aim to keep customers informed of any significant delays.

4. Combined orders

If your order includes both pre-order items and in-stock items, we may hold the order and dispatch all items together once the pre-order product is available, unless stated otherwise.

If separate delivery is available, this may involve additional shipping charges.

5. Cancellation before dispatch

If you change your mind before a pre-order item has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will usually allow cancellation before dispatch unless the item is personalised, custom-made, or another exception applies under law.

If cancellation is accepted, any refund due will be made to the original payment method.

6. Delays and availability

In the event of a significant delay, change to the product, or if we are unable to fulfil your pre-order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.

If we cancel your pre-order and payment has already been taken, you will be entitled to a refund.

7. Product descriptions

We aim to ensure that pre-order product descriptions, images, and specifications are as accurate as possible. However, because pre-order products may still be in final production, minor changes to packaging, presentation, or non-essential details may occur before dispatch.

Any material changes affecting the nature of the product will be communicated where appropriate.

8. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Pre-order Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your rights in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill where applicable.
